Headlining the event is a battle for the undisputed UFC welterweight championship, as defending champion Leon “Rocky” Edwards looks to register his third straight title defence when he takes on former foe Belal “Remember The Name” Muhammad, who has been chasing a rematch with Edwards for three years after their first meeting was halted and ruled a no-contest due to an accidental eye poke by “Rocky”.
There’s also a big rematch in the co-main event, as interim heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall takes on the only man to defeat him in the UFC, Curtis Blaydes. That first meeting ended after just 15 seconds when a leg kick attempt from Aspinall left him with a shattered knee. Now, after recovering, bouncing back and capturing the interim heavyweight crown, Aspinall faces Blaydes in a title clash on home soil.
The fight card is packed with British and Irish fighters, including the likes of Paddy Pimblett, Molly McCann, Oban Elliott, Christian Leroy Duncan and Nathaniel Wood, and they’ll all look to make weight as they step onto the scale at the official weigh-in session at the fighter hotel in central Manchester.
