The fight card is full of British and Irish talent, including defending world champions Leon Edwards and Tom Aspinall, who both put their titles on the line on Saturday night at Co-op Live against Belal Muhammad and Curtis Blaydes, respectively.
The heat rose to near-boiling point as Edwards and Muhammad faced off, with Muhammad telling the booing crowd that those boos would turn to tears on Sunday morning. Edwards, meanwhile, stated that Muhammad was too slow, too small, and would get “knocked the f**k out.”
Also on the card, there’s a lively lightweight scrap in prospect as American UFC vet King Green takes on pride of Liverpool Paddy Pimblett, while rising middleweight prospect and former Cage Warriors champion Christian Leroy Duncan puts his skills to the test against dangerous late replacement opponent Gregory “Robocop” Rodrigues.
The card also sees the returns of Arnold Allen, Molly McCann, Oban Elliott, Nathaniel Wood and Modestas Bukauskas, among many others, on what should be a packed night of fights from the brand new, state-of-the-art Co-op Live arena, just next door to Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium.
But, before the fighters take to the cage on fight night, they had to face off for the final time, and you can watch them go eye to eye in front of the UK UFC fans at the ceremonial weigh-ins via the live stream replay above.
