Former WBC women’s featherweight world champion Skye Nicolson and former IBF super-featherweight world champion Joe Cordina have joined the card as the pair look to move back to championship contention after making divisional moves in 2025.

Australia’s Nicolson will continue her quest for super-bantamweight championship gold when she takes on Yuliahn Luna for the interim WBC title.
Nicolson charged to a 12-0 record, capturing the WBC’s interim female featherweight title and defending it once before winning the full title and defending it twice.
But her reign at 126 pounds came to an end at the hands of Tiara Brown, who edged a split-decision verdict to strip the title away from Nicolson, who later took the decision to kick off a fresh chapter of her career by dropping down to the 122-pound super-bantamweight division.
Her first appearance at 122 pounds saw her claim a second-round TKO victory over Bolivia’s Carla Camila Campos Gonzales in Manchester. Then the 30-year-old headed home to Queensland, Australia, where she stopped Urvashi Singh, again in the second round, to capture the vacant IBF intercontinental women’s super-bantamweight title.

Now Nicolson will look to add the WBC interim super-bantamweight strap to her collection as she looks to position herself for a shot at unified world champion Ellie Scotney in 2026.
To do that, she’ll have to defeat Luna, who heads into their meeting in California with a 28-4-1 record and riding a three-fight win streak.
Also added to the Stockton card is Welshman Cordina, who is looking to move into championship contention after moving up to lightweight earlier this year.
Cordina captured the IBF super-featherweight world title back in 2022 with a stunning second-round knockout of Kenichi Ogawa, then defended his belt twice in 2023 with decision wins over Shavkat Rakhimov and Edward Vazquez.

But that run ended in May last year when Cordina was stopped in the eighth round by IBO champion Anthony Cacace in Riyadh.
Cordina then made the decision to move up in weight and, after 14 months away from the ring, returned to action and captured the vacant WBO global lightweight belt with victory over Jaret Gonzalez Quiroz in Manchester in July.
Now the 33-year-old will face Gabriel Flores Jr for the WBO international lightweight title, with the American heading into the bout on a six-fight win streak.
The event in Stockton will feature a battle for the WBC silver and WBO international super-middleweight titles between undefeated 24-0 Diego Pacheco and 26-0 Kevin Lele Sadjo.
