Inactivity is a problem across the UK, especially in the youth. There are very few organizations that are working to encourage fitness and creating opportunities for healthy activities in the region. Greater Sport is one such organization.
Greater Sport is a charity that aims to promote a healthy future in the region through meaningful events and activities. Their current goal is to get 1 Million people doing regular activity by 2017. For this goal, they have developed partnerships with various organizations and businesses in the UK.
They conduct a yearly event “Greater Manchester Sports Awards” to honor and reward people and businesses that are working towards a healthier future.

For the Greater Manchester Sports Awards 2017, RDX is a proud sponsor. We are sponsoring the Gym/Club of the Year Award with Greater Sport Nov 17, at Emirates Old Trafford.
We look forward to instilling healthy wellbeing within the youth of the United Kingdom through Fitness and Combat Sports. This initiative aims at beating anti-social behavior, juvenile delinquency, and bad health by encouraging a sense of discipline, community, and respect between one another.

Senior International Communications Manager of RDX Sports, Mr. Mohammed Ali expressed his opinion on the matter, he said, “Being a British Brand we want to give back to the community and at the grass root level is where support is most needed. It is an absolute honor for us to be a part of this. We meet sporting volunteers and clubs all the time and they truly are an inspiration who are using sport as a platform to bring communities together and instill confidence in our youth.”
Winners of this award will benefit in terms of support and funding from the government, recognition, and credibility.
Through RDX they will gain more exposure in the fitness and combat sports arena by becoming a part of the network of gym sponsored by RDX Sports.
The event is scheduled for 17 November at The Point, Emirates Old Trafford. We look forward to this fruitful endeavor and wish good luck to all the finalists for the award.
