Prajanchai had to weather some early adversity as Di Bella started fast and quickly established his striking from range, as the Italian-Canadian kickboxer looked to recapture his old title.
But, as the fight progressed, Muay Thai star Prajanchai found his rhythm and began to connect with his shots. And, in the final two rounds, Prajanchai poured on the pressure to finish the fight in the ascendency as the bout went to the judges’ scorecards. When the verdict was delivered, it was the Thai ace whose hand was raised as Prajanchai become a two-sport ONE world champion.
The co-main event saw ONE flyweight kickboxing world champion Superlek Kiatmoo9 cement his number-one Muay Thai contender status with a unanimous decision victory over compatriot Konthoranee Sor Sommai, while Kiamran Nabati stopped Suablack Tor Pran49 inside the opening two minutes of their bantamweight Muay Thai contest.
The card also saw stoppage wins for Petchtanong Petchfergus and Pakorn PK Saenchai, who defeated Alaverdi Ramazanov and Rafi Bohic, respectively.
And there was a hard-earned split-decision victory for “John Wayne Noi” Tyson Harrison, whose all-action fighting style helped him to victory over Sibmuen in his bantamweight Muay Thai matchup.
The lone MMA bout on the card saw Kohei Wakabayashi claim a split-decision win over Sanlang Gexi in their strawweight contest.
