Brendan Allen went “All In” on Saturday night as he stepped in on short notice to take on Reinier de Ridder, and he defeated the Dutch contender to put himself right in the mix at 185 pounds.

Allen looked the fresher, better-conditioned fighter as he outworked and eventually broke down de Ridder to stop him at the end of the fourth round of their middleweight main event in Vancouver.

The event also saw a big career victory for Mike Malott, who defeated Kevin Holland by unanimous decision after a controversial welterweight clash in the co-main event, while French former title challenger Manon Fiorot bounced back in style with a stunning first-round TKO of Canadian contender Jasmine Jasudavicius in their women’s flyweight contender bout.

On this week’s episode of the RDX Sports Podcast, Editor-in-Chief Simon Head looks back at the night’s events to share his take on an action-packed, at-times controversial night of fights in Vancouver.
