Pereira, who had lost his title to Ankalaev earlier this year at UFC 313, returned to peak form as he overwhelmed Ankalaev in just 80 seconds to reclaim the 205-pound title.
The event also saw bantamweight champion Merab Dvalishvili notch another impressive defence of his 135-pound crown as he defeated Cory Sandhagen, while earlier in the night, light heavyweight contenders Jiri Prochazka and Khalil Rountree Jr produced a thrilling scrap, as former champion Prochazka came back from two rounds down to knock out Rountree in an incredible third round to put himself right back in the frame for another crack at the title.
UFC 320 also saw important victories for the careers of featherweight Youssef Zalal and middleweight Joe Pyfer, who both claimed submission wins to continue their respective ascents.
