Headlining PFL World Tournament: Atlantic City will be a battle for the welterweight tournament title, as Thad Jean takes on Logan Storley for the 170-pound crown and the $500,000 first prize.
Undefeated at 10-0, Jean earned his spot in the tournament finale by edging former Bellator welterweight champion Jason Jackson, while former interim Bellator champ Storley claimed his place in the final by outpointing Japanese contender Masayuki Kikuiri on the same night.
Also set for championship action are Peru’s Jesus Pinedo and Russia’s Movlid Khaybulaev, who will face off for the featherweight crown. 2023 PFL featherweight champion Pinedo defeated both Adam Borics and Gabriel Braga by first-round TKO to punch his ticket to the 145-pound finale in emphatic fashion.
He’ll take on 2021 champion Khaybulaev, who is unbeaten at 23-0-1, and determined to capture gold once again after injury denied him the chance to capture gold in 2023.
Also on the card is a featherweight battle between French former Bellator staples Asael Adjoudj and Yves Landu, while middleweights Jordan Newman and Eslam Abdul Baset kick off the main card action.
The early card will see two-time PFL Europe lightweight champion Jakub Kaszuba take on Sergio Cossio in a 160-pound catchweight bout, while featherweight contender Nathan Kelly takes on Fred Dupras at 145 pounds. ALso on the early card, former Cage Warriors lightweight title challenger Kyle Driscoll takes on 11-1 Swiss prospect Husein Kadimagomaev.
