In addition, eight regional events will be held, four for PFL Africa, four for PFL MENA.
PFL CEO sets the stage for 2026 revamp
“In 2026 we are leveling up,” said Martin.
“We’re running at least 24 events worldwide, with 16 major cards on ESPN in the United States, featuring our top fighters in the PFL, going after world championships. And 10 of those are going to be right here in the United States.
“We’re going to kick off things in a big way. Our first four stops, Dubai, Madrid, Spain, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Chicago, Illinois.
“And yes, we’re continuing to make big changes to PFL. Many of you probably remember that we’re stepping away from the tournament format. So what does that mean? That means every card is going to be built around the best fights possible, the biggest fights every card, the fights the fans are asking for, and the fights that the fighters want.
“Our regional leagues in MENA and Africa are going to continue to maintain tournament formats, building the next wave of stars who will move up to the global stage.
“This is a new era at the PFL, the best fighting the best every time. Reminder: December 13 in Lyon, two championship belts on the line. After that, we look forward to going into 2026 with a lot of momentum. We’ll see you there.”
