The event, which took place in Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic, saw Humberger take on Kristofic in the main event in the final tournament matchup of the night, and he closed the show with a wild brawl with “Pirat” that ended in a second-round TKO victory as Humberger moved into the tournament quarter-finals.
Joining him are Serbian striker Vlasto Cepo, who knocked out Austria’s Erhan Kartal four minutes into their co-main event clash, and former UFC veteran Krzysztof Jotko, who outpointed welterweight champion Ion Surdu over three rounds to earn his spot in the final eight.
Also progressing to the tournament quarter-finals is former interim middleweight champion Piotr Wawrzyniak, who knocked out Marek Mazuch with 24 seconds remaining in the first round of their tournament matchup.
They join fellow tournament bout winners Mick Stanton, Mark Hulme, Matej Penaz and champion Kerim Engizek, who all earned their quarter-final spots in their bouts at OKTAGON 66 and 67 in February.
Before the tournament bouts took centre stage, the main card in Karlovy Vary saw a pair of first-round knockouts, as Andrej Kalasnik and Daniel Skvor secured sub-two-minute victories with KOs of Mate Kertesz and Marc Doussis, respectively.
The night also saw America’s Mallory Martin successfully defend her OKTAGON women’s strawweight title with a dominant performance over five rounds to defeat Eva Dourthe via unanimous decision, with scores of 50-45, 49-46, 49-46.
