He chatted to fellow journalist James Sweetnam to unpack the key results, and also grabbed some post-fight reaction backstage from Irish light heavyweight Will Fleury, who scored the knockout of the night with a one-shot KO of former interim champion Pavel Langer.
Simon also chatted to OKTAGON MMA’s international press manager, Scott Lagdon, about the rise of the promotion in Europe, and the organisation’s growth in Germany, in particular.
Finally, Simon heard some post-fight reaction from OKTAGON’s co-owners and founders, Pavol Neruda and Ondrej Novotny, as they shared their immediate thoughts at the post-fight press conference.
