The open-air Peugeot Arena played host to Oktagon’s “Summer Party” event, and two of their big champions delivered crowd-pleasing victories to put themselves in the final four of the €1 million lightweight tournament.
In the main event, Slovakia’s reigning Oktagon lightweight champion Ronald Paradeiser dominated Daniel Torres in a one-sided matchup to progress to the next stage of the tournament.
Paradeiser outstruck Torres by a staggering 142-45 and stuffed every takedown attempt to completely outclass the Austrian for a shutout decision victory, with scores of 30-27, 30-27, 30-26. He’ll move on to face Spain’s Acoidan Duque in the semi-finals of the tournament.

Also punching his ticket to the final four was reigning Oktagon featherweight champiokn Losene Keita, who stopped Pregrag Bogdanovic in the co-main event of the evening with a vicious body shot to surge into the semi-finals.
After his victory, Keita, who previously held the lightweight belt and never lost it inside the cage, faced off with his semi-final opponent, fellow former lightweight champ Mateusz Legierski, in what should be a cracker of a matchup.
Another former champion Ivan Buchinger, was given a hero’s welcome on home soil, and he delivered a performance to match, as he defeated Lukasz Rajewski via D’Arce choke to put himself in the frame as a reserve fighter, should anything happen to any of the four semi-finalists in the coming weeks.
Rising star Lucia Szabova picked up a big win with a dominant decision victory over Spain’s Aitana Alvarez, and the main card opened up with a great story, as 46-year-old Czech MMA pioneer Petr Knize picked up an second-round submission victory over knockout artist Radovan Uskrt in what was expected to be his final fight.
But, after such an impressive display, Knize hinted that, if the money was right, he might be persuaded back for one more before he hangs up the gloves.
