BRAVE 100 will see the promotion crown its first-ever flyweight world champion as Muhammad Mokaev takes on Gerard Burns for the inaugural 125-pound championship at Khalifa Sports City in Isa Town, Bahrain.
It’s a bout that many connected with BRAVE have been excited about for a long time, and now the pair have put pen to paper on a bout agreement and will face off for championship gold on Friday, November 7.
“This is the golden opportunity I’ve been waiting for,” said the undefeated Mokaev, who hasn’t tasted defeat in 23 amateur and 15 professional bouts.
“I’ve fought my way through every challenge, and on November 7, I will etch my name in history as the first BRAVE CF Flyweight World Champion.”
Burns, meanwhile, heads into his title challenge having won his last six fights, including four straight victories under the BRAVE CF banner. The 7-1 Irishman has been marked for greatness within the BRAVE flyweight division, and now has the chance to turn that potential into a championship.
The bout joins the interim super-welterweight title battle between Mohammed Fakhreddine and Alex Lohore at the sharp end of a fight card that BRAVE CF is expected to stack with some of its biggest names as they celebrate a century of events on home soil.
