That’s because Khan claimed victory as result of him breaking both bones in his opponent’s forearm with a nasty snapping front kick.
Manchester’s Khan looked in excellent form in his bout against Saudi Arabia’s Mostafa Nada as he peppered his opponent with punches and kicks from distance as he made his significant reach advantage count early on.
Nada came into the bout with a reputation for charging forward to initiate exchanges, but he was forced to stay on the outside and try to time his way in, with Haida controlling the range expertly with his strikes.
Then, mid-way through the opening round, Khan made the breakthrough as he fired a snapping front kick to Nada’s body. Nada threw down his left arm to swat the kick away from its intended target, but in making the block, he broke both bones in his forearm, with the injury clear for all to see.

Nada attempted to immediately reset the bones in his arm as the referee waved off the contest at the 3:18 mark, while Khan wheeled away in celebration.
“That was insane. It was a beautiful kick, as well,” said former UFC title challenger and PFL fighter relations boss Dan Hardy on commentary.
“You could see him stabbing to the midsection with it, as Nada went for that down block…
“The thing is, I’ve done years of taekwondo where I’m taught that down block. Now we know that’s not a thing to do in martial arts, right?”
