The event, which takes place in Stvanice, Prague, Czech Republic, will see former Cage Warriors bantamweight champion Cartwright go for gold as he faces dangerous Brazilian and former UFC fighter Severino in a battle between OKTAGON’s top two-ranked bantamweight contenders.
The pair were originally due to face off back in April, but injury to Cartwright force the bout to be rescheduled. Now the pair are ready to roll into Stvanice as they join a stacked lineup for the event, which takes place in an open-air tennis stadium.
Headlining the fight is a battle for the women’s bantamweight title, as Norway’s defending champion Cecilie Bolander takes on undefeated Slovakian starlet Lucia Szabova, while Severino vs Cartwright slots in as the co-main event.
Leading into the night’s two championship fights are all four of the Tipsport Gamechanger quarter-finals, with Matej Penaz taking on Piotr Wawrzyniak, Vlasto Cepo facing off against Krzysztof Jotko, Dominik Humburger goes up against Mark Hulme, and middleweight champion Kerim Engizek takes on England’s Mick Stanton.
