- The biggest mistake made by most of the boxers is they put their gloves in bags after training. After your training do not put your gloves in your bag as it is likely to generate bacteria.
- Dry your gloves thoroughly from inside and outside with some dry towel or cloth.
- Once you reach your home, hang your gloves somewhere with good air ventilation.
- You can put your boxing gloves wrapped in some airtight plastic bags overnight in the freezer for killing bacteria. After that, place them in sunlight for 1–2 days.

- You can buy two pairs of gloves so that when one is in use, you can dry the other pair.
- Do not overuse chemicals and sprays as these are not good for your gloves. The surface of gloves can develop cracks.
