The Global Fight League, a brand new MMA organisation for 2025, is set for its inaugural season, having announced its six city-based teams, complete with managers and head coaches.

Teams representing London, Los Angeles, New York, Miami, Dubai and Sao Paulo will form the inaugural season, with the teams set up as follows:

Manager: Luke Barnatt
Coach: Carl Prince

LOS ANGELES
Manager: Wanderlei Silva
Coach: Rafael Cordeiro

NEW YORK
Manager: TBC
Coach: Ray Longo


MIAMI
Manager: Thiago Alves
Coach: Conan Silveira

DUBAI
Manager: Cain Velasquez
Coach: Javier Mendez

SAO PAULO
Manager: Lyoto Machida
Coach: Andre Pederneiras

Those owner/coach duos will select their respective team’s rosters at the inaugural GFL Draft, which takes place Friday night at 1am GMT, and you can follow the action via the video player above.

A huge collection of fighters has been provisionally signed by the promotion, with those selected set to compete under GFL contracts. Those left unselected will revert to free agency, but may still feature in upcoming GFL events.
