Scotland’s rising star Sean Clancy Jr will take on Dutch veteran Melvin van Suijdam for he vacant title in a five-round title clash at Vertu Arena on Saturday, December 6.
It’s the biggest test of Clancy’s MMA career to date. The Scot has claimed five straight wins since signing with Cage Warriors back in 2023, and a sixth successive victory will result in him capturing his first major championship. The Paisley native boasts a perfect professional record of 7-0, with a 100 percent finishing rate.
Now he’ll take on a seasoned veteran of the European MMA scene when he faces van Suijdam, who has a 15-7 career record. The Dutchman is a former champion in the Dutch promotion Levels Fight League, and holds notable wins over UK talents Liam Etebar and Ammari Diedrick.
