Loof moved up from bantamweight to featherweight to take on returning Cage Warriors veteran Lee, and managed to do enough across two of the three rounds to earn 29-28 scores from two of the three cageside judges. The dissenting judge scored it 29-28 to Lee.
Loof’s victory snapped a two-fight skid, and puts him in a position to start to make his way up the Cage Warriors 145-pound division.
The co-main event saw Ireland’s Adam Darby improve his record to 5-1 with an impressive head-kick finish of Spanish 36-fight veteran Tato Primera.
Following his second-round stoppage victory, Darby declared that it was time for the featherweight division to “put some respect on my name” as he looks to build his way towards the top of a crowded 145-pound class.
Also on the card, French light heavyweight Nell Ariano earned a third-round TKO finish of Charles Joyner, while Brazil’s Aldo Pereira scored an upset victory over surging Italian contender Francesco Mazzeo as he claimed a unanimous decision victory with scores of 29-28 across the board.
