Cage Warriors 190: Unplugged takes place on Friday night, June 27, with a cracker of a featherweight bout in the main event, as Sweden’s Alexander Loof takes on England’s Aiden Lee.
Also set for action at Cage Warriors’ signature stripped-down Unplugged format show include Italian light heavyweight contender Francesco Mazzeo, Australian 205er Charles Joyner, and welterweight Adam Darby.
Friday’s eight-fight Unplugged card then gives way to a bumper 16-fight lineup for Saturday’s full Cage Warriors 191 show.
Two title fights feature at the top of the card, as bantamweight champion Liam Gittins looks to defend his 135-pound title against Italian contender Alessandro Giordano in a rematch of their first meeting back in March, which ended in a no contest after an unfortunate, unintentional eye poke.
Now the pair have been rebooked and they’ll do battle again for the Cage Warriors bantamweight crown.
The interim lightweight title is up for grabs in the co-main event, as James Power takes on newcomer Omar Tugarev for the vacant title.
Elsewhere on a packed card, UK MMA veteran Tim “The Experiment” Wilde returns to Cage Warriors to take on Italian contender Michael Pagani, while rising English lightweight prospect Teddy Stringer looks to extend his perfect professional record as he takes on fellow 5-0 prospect Torpal Merjoev.
Also on the card, lightweight contender Adam Cullen takes on Lukas Cruz, while Omiel Brown takes on Edgar Escarrega in a 165-pound catchweight contest.
It all adds up to a huge double-header of MMA action in Manchester this weekend, and you can catch it all live on UFC Fight Pass.
