BRAVE CF 94 will be held in Geneva in association with local promotion WNC, and continues “The Year of the BRAVE” as the promotion continues to spread the MMA gospel across Europe as it takes the cage to underserved nations in the region to showcase the sport of mixed martial arts.
The event, which will follow hot on the heels of BRAVE CF 93 in China, will see Switzerland become the 36th nation visited by the BRAVE CF cage, and the 17th European nation to play host to a BRAVE CF event. Both marks extend the promotion’s records as they continue their proud record of being the most international promotion in the sport.
BRAVE CF’s European events have seen the promotion host shows in Northern Ireland, England, Romania, Slovenia, Sweden, Russia, Belarus, Italy, Poland, Serbia, Germany, France, Spain, the Netherlands, Bulgaria, Austria, and now, on May 17, Switzerland.
No bouts have been scheduled for the event so far, with more information about the event set to follow in due course. But with a host of athletes from Western Europe on their roster, it’s a fair bet that a good number of them will be called into action to compete on what should be a relatively local card for them.
In addition, a host of Swiss fighting talent will step into the BRAVE CF cage as the promotion provides a showcase for the top emerging talent from the nation to show their skills as they look to follow in the footsteps of Switzerland’s leading MMA export, Volkan Oezdemir, who has taken his skills to the top of the sport in his fighting career.
Now, with the next generation of Swiss talent looking to put on a show, Switzerland’s next MMA star could emerge in the BRAVE CF cage on May 17.
