Reigning 135-pound king Nkosi Ndebele of South Africa is looking to cement his status as the apex competitor at the top of the bantamweight division. And, following his epic trilogy with Jose “Shorty” Torres, Ndebele is welcoming fresh challengers as 2024 comes to a close.
Ndebele will take on Zimbabwe’s Nicholas Hwende, who will head into his title fight riding a two-fight win streak, following an impressive victory over Khurshed Nazarov at BRAVE CF 82.
Hwende called for a shot at Ndebele after that victory, and he gets his wish on December 13.

Also set for action in Isa Town is returning Arab MMA star Hamza Kooheji, who takes on Turkish striker Alperen Karabulut.
Kooheji returned to action earlier this year with a first-round TKO in Belarus and is now set to make his BRAVE CF comeback, more than two years after his last appearance at BRAVE CF 65 in October 2022.
He’ll face debuting Karabulut, who fights under the moniker of “The Demigod” and comes into his BRAVE CF debut having finished each of his last three wins by first-round knockout.
BRAVE CF 91 will form part of the sixth BRAVE International Combat Week, which will also feature BRAVE CF 92 and the IMMAF Youth Asian Championships.
