The Brave Combat Federation started on this track in 2016, and since then, they’ve had some amazing events all across the globe. But they want to go back. Back to where they first began. To their roots. To their origins. Bahrain.
See, Brave started off there, through the personal involvement of Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa and his interest in MMA. It started with the KHK MMA, a mixed martial arts organization that promotes the growth of MMA in Bahrain. It also happens to be the holding company for Brave Combat Federation.
KHK MMA was making waves in Bahrain; their popularity was at an all-time high, and Sheikh Khalid wanted to expand further. He wanted this to go global. That’s when Brave came to be. In a press conference on July 27, 2016.
Their first match was where the announcement was too. The Kingdom of Bahrain. It was called Brave 1: The Beginning, and it took place in Isa Town on September 23, marking the beginning of a global phenomenon.
