The event marks BRAVE CF’s sixth event to Slovenia, with the promotion once again teaming up with local promotion World Freefight Challenge (WFC), and continues the promotion’s quickfire schedule of events through the month of November.
Heavyweight contenders collide in main event
The main event of the evening will feature the promotion’s top two heavyweight contenders, as Slovenia’s second-ranked Miha Frlic takes on Poland’s number-one contender Patryk Dubiela, with the prize of a shot at reigning heavyweight champion Pavel Dailidko likely to be next for the winner.
Frlic is undefeated in six professional fights, including two wins and one draw inside the BRAVE CF cage. the Slovenian contender, who has also earned a victory for Polish MMA promotion KSW, claimed a third-round TKO finish of the previously undefeated Shah Kamali in his last outing, and will look to claim a crowd-pleasing victory on home soil.
He’ll be facing Dubiela, who is on the comeback trail after being stopped by current champion Pavel Dailidko in a battle for the vacant heavyweight title back at BRAVE CF 88 in September 2024. The big Pole has a 6-3 record, and has alternated wins and losses through his last six outings. He’ll be hoping to bounce back into the win column once again, and potentially earn himself the chance of a rematch, and a shot at redemption, against Dailidko next year.
BRAVE CF President hails promotion’s return to Slovenia
