CFFC 149: Cage Fury Fighting Championships announces 'biggest event in company history' for Atlantic City

Cage Fury Fighting Championships, one of the leading American regional MMA organisations, has unveiled its plans for its largest-ever event, as they return to Atlantic City, New Jersey, on Saturday, December 20.

CFFC 149 will feature a quartet of championship bouts, featuring some of the most talented athletes on the CFFC roster, as the promotion looks to raise the roof at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.

Already announced for the event is one of the promotion’s most talented rising stars, flyweight champion Bilal Hasan, as the 7-0 flyweight champion puts his title on the line against fellow unbeaten contender Renaldy Manse, who will arrive in New Jersey with an identical 7-0 record.

Also, the promotion’s lone women’s champion, Emily “Galega” Martins, will look to make the first defence of her women’s bantamweight title when she takes on five-fight Invicta FC veteran Alexa Conners.

Additionally, the CFFC featherweight championship will be on the line when champion Ryan “Korean Thunder” Cafaro looks to defend his newly-won crown against Justin “The General” Patton.

The bout is a rematch of their 2024 meeting, which ended in a no-contest inside the first two minutes due to an accidental eye poke. With no definitive outcome to their first meeting, both men will look to secure a decisive result in the rematch, and walk away with the featherweight title as a result.

The fourth scheduled championship bout for the event will see middleweight champion Chris “Breezy” Brown take on undefeated Georgian challenger Guram Gochashvili in a bout that was originally set to take place at CFFC 146 back in September.

“Many of our organisation’s greatest events have taken place on our home turf of the Atlantic City Boardwalk, but none of them have been as absolutely stacked as this card,” said CFFC CEO Rob Haydak.
