Team Bahrain’s Gadzhi Gadzhiev achieved a remarkable milestone, becoming a five-time IMMAF World Champion. From Youth Gold in 2019 to consecutive Senior Super Middleweight titles in 2024 and 2025, Gadzhiev has firmly established himself as one of the greatest amateur fighters in IMMAF history.
Meanwhile, Team England enjoyed a spectacular day in Tbilisi. Joseph Frodsham completed a storybook campaign, capturing the Senior Bantamweight World Title with victory over Spain’s Marc Cabrera Ramon. England’s dominance extended to the women’s divisions, with Alanna Pritchard (Super Welterweight), Millie-Rae Vardy (Super Lightweight), and Katrina Fisher (Bantamweight) all claiming Gold in their respective categories.
In one of the tournament’s most anticipated matchups, Ukraine’s Anna Hyria once again demonstrated her elite talent, defeating Uruguay’s Jimena Osorio to secure her second consecutive World Championship. Hyria’s win caps off a phenomenal year in which she also captured the 2025 European title.
Another highlight came in the Middleweight division, where Kazakhstan’s Zhaxybek Aimakhanov delivered a statement performance, earning the World Championship with a stunning finish over Germany’s Oskar Sennewald, who had impressed throughout his run to the final.
Following a historic event in Georgia, the IMMAF now looks ahead to its next major stop, the 2025 IMMAF Pan American Championships, taking place from November 16 to 22 in Monterrey, Mexico.
