Ukraine’s Mariia Klein continued her incredible streak of submission victories, capturing her second World Championship title. She once again showcased her elite grappling, defeating Natalia Galkowska by rear-naked choke.
Heorhii Hudz, representing the newly assembled IMMAF Refugee Team, marked a milestone moment by earning Gold in the Bantamweight division. Hudz secured a unanimous decision victory over Tajikistan’s Anushervon Makhmudov, etching his name into IMMAF history.
Team Angola also enjoyed unprecedented success in the Junior Finals, earning three Gold medals, a testament to the federation’s continued investment in grassroots development. Daniela Mandanji (Women’s Bantamweight), Maria Kitoko (Women’s Super Lightweight), and Milfa Kuenda Nicolau (Men’s Super Middleweight) all claimed World Championship titles, proudly raising Angola’s flag on the global amateur MMA stage.
In the Women’s Atomweight division, Poland’s Julia Glaz achieved redemption, capturing her long-awaited World title after earning Silver in 2024. The victory caps off an outstanding year for Glaz, who also won the European title earlier in Belgrade.
Among the heavier weight classes, Team Bahrain’s Arsen Suleimanov secured Light Heavyweight Gold, while Ukraine’s Ivan Poremchuk captured his first Heavyweight World title, adding to his 2023 success as the Light Heavyweight Champion.
