Both of the men set for action in the main event made weight with no problems, with Sean O’Malley registering 135 pounds exactly before defending champion Merab Dvalishvili arrived on the scale with one pound to spare, as he weighed in at 134 pounds.
There were also no issues on the scale as the two fighters in the co-main event both made weight. Women’s bantamweight champion Julianna Pena and challenger Kayla Harrison both hit championship weight as they both weighed in at 135 pounds.
The rest of the main card weighed in successfully, but there was one big weight miss on the preliminary card. Ariane da Silva came in a whopping six pounds over her contracted weight for her bout with Chinese striker Wang Cong. Da Silva arrived on the scale at 132 pounds, with Cong hitting championship weight for her non-title fight, weighing in at 125 pounds.
