OKTAGON MMA and RTL Germany have entered into an exclusive media partnership to cover the DACHLILU (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein and Luxembourg) region. The deal will span the next three years, with RTL’s platforms streaming more than 15 OKTAGON events per year, as well as shoulder programming including documentaries.
The content will all stream exclusively in that market via RTL’s streaming platform and app, RTL+.
OKTAGON have already committed heavily to the German market for 2025, with seven confirmed shows in Germany, starting with OKTAGON 66 at the PSD Bank Dome in Dusseldorf on February 1.
The promotion also has confirmed dates for events in Stuttgart, Dortmund, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Cologne and Munich.

“We are incredibly proud to have found a partner in RTL that shares our vision and passion,” said OKTAGON co-founders Pavol Neruda and Ondrej Novotny, in a joint statement.
“Mixed martial arts is one of the fastest growing sports in the world, with inspiring values such as respect, sportsmanship, discipline and self-control.
“This contract is a clear signal: MMA has arrived in Germany! Now millions of viewers will be able to experience the heroes of OKTAGON MMA in breathtaking fights on RTL+.”
The new partnership begins next weekend with OKTAGON 65, which closes out 2024 with a huge event at Prague’s O2 Arena, where a crowd of 20,000 is expected for a fight night that features the final of the Tipsport Gamechanger tournament, as lightweight champion Ronald Paradeiser takes on former champion, and current featherweight king, Losene Keita for the tournament prize and the undisputed lightweight crown.
Also on the card is a battle for the light heavyweight title, as reigning champion Karlos Vemola looks to defend his belt against surging Irish contender Will Fleury. The women’s bantamweight title is also up for grabs, as Lucia Szabova takes on Lucie Pudilova for the vacant 135-pound crown.
