Jun captured the championship earlier this year with a fourth-round TKO finish of Alexander Wesner at BRAVE CF 88 in Ljubljana, Slovenia, and this past weekend was an interested viewer as former light heavyweight champion Fakhreddine made a victorious return after more than two years away and defeated Abdel Rahmane Driai in the main event of BRAVE CF 92 in Bahrain.
That fight took place at a catchweight of 190 pounds, with Fakhreddine setting his sights on the vacant middleweight crown – a title Jun also has in his crosshairs as he looks to become a two-division champion in 2025.
And, after Fakhreddine’s victory, “The Latest” used his post-fight interview to call out Jun for a title fight next year.

“I know Erko is looking to become a double-weight champion and be the second man to hold two titles at the same time in BRAVE CF,” he began.
“But Erko, I’m going to have to spoil the plan for you, brother.”
Jun posted a video on social media responding to the callout, exclaiming, “LET’S GO!”
Clearly Jun and Fakhreddine are willing, able and excited to face off for the vacant 185-pound championship, all that remains is a signed bout agreement and a confirmed date and location for their 2025 showdown.
After a big year for the promotion that saw them extend their international reach with a host of international events, BRAVE CF will look to continue building, and with a current champion lined up to face a former champion for a vacant title, it looks like they already have one dynamite main event matchup ready to roll in 2025.
