All eyes were on the two men at the top of the card as they took to the scale, and reigning UFC featherweight champion Ilia Topuria and former champion Max Holloway both hit championship weight, 145 pounds, to make their title fight official.
There was a little drama towards the end of the two-hour weigh-in window, with Khamzat Chimaev not arriving to weigh in until late in the second hour. But, despite his apologies to those in attendance, the important work was done, as “Borz” weighed in at 186 pounds, right on the middleweight limit, for his five-round co-main event bout with former 185-pound champion Robert Whittaker.
Further down the card, the matchup between bantamweights Farid Basharat and Victor Hugo was moved up to featherweight, with Hugo weighing in at 145.5 pounds. Basharat, meanwhile, weighed in at the lowest allowable weight for the weight class, coming in at 137 pounds.
