It’s a huge show, with a stacked card, and on this week’s episode of The RDX Sports Podcast, I caught up with one of the men set for action in Germany on Saturday night.
Ireland’s Will Fleury made an impact on his OKTAGON MMA debut in Birmingham earlier this year with a finish of contender Daniel Skvor, despite fighting with a shattered thumb. Now he’s back to full fitness and ready to earn himself a shot at the OKTAGON light heavyweight title.
Fleury is set to take on Slovakia’s former interim light heavyweight champ Pavol Langer in a number-one contender clash, and I chatted with him to get an update on his injury recovery, his assessment of his debut victory last time out, how he sees the light heavyweight title picture playing out, and his thoughts ahead of his bout with Langer.
