Live Blog: Joshua vs. Whyte – Catch It Live On RDX!

The wait is almost over for one of the biggest fights of the year, Anthony Joshua and Dillian Whyte are going to step into the ring to decide who will be crowned the new British heavyweight champion.

Michael Buffer is in position. It’s almost time to welcome Anthony Joshua and Dillian Whyte to the ring for tonight’s main event.

10.51: Dillian Whyte is making Anthony Joshua wait in the ring.

10.54: Whyte is with Malik Scott in the ring, and boos coming from the crowd at O2 Arena.

10:58: We are just moments away from the first bell, Buffer is making the intros

Round 1 – The bell rings!

11:00: A stiff one-two lands for Joshua. He looks comfortable. Whyte buries a left to the body.

11.03: There is a controversy at the end of 1st round as Joshua throws a punch after the bell and Whyte reacts and suddenly the ring is filled with people.

Round 2 – The bell rings!
Whyte’s trying to hit Joshua but Joshua’s acting intelligent. Whyte already lost control over his mind. Joshua hits Whyte with a couple of punches and an uppercut. Whyte counterattacks! Joshua in trouble now! A mighty Hook from Joshua! Whyte hits him back. Great comeback by Whyte!

11.10: Into the 3rd round, and Joshua is on the back foot. Both exchange punches and now Joshua is looking better and in control.

Round 4 – The bell rings!

11.11: Third round has ended, that means Joshua will enter the 4th round for the 1st time in his professional career.

Joshua’s aggressive now, after getting hit by Whyte previously. He hits Whyte with better timing and precision now! Whyte’s not taking it easy on him. Whyte tries to attack, Joshua blocks! A round of punches by Joshua! Joshua’s gone past 3 rounds for the first time. Whyte punches Joshua but then Joshua hits Whyte back, a good round for Joshua.

Round 5 -The bell rings!

11.19: End of round 5, Whyte throws a cuffing right and then immediately receives blows from Joshua, Joshua is throwing punches at Whyte and Whyte is taking everything. Whyte is getting slow but still standing.

Round 6 -The bell rings!
Joshua’s dominating now! Whyte fails to defend Joshua’s shots. Whyte counter punching, Joshua is back in action now! He’s using incredible footwork. Whyte tries to hook but fails. Not a good round for Whyte.
